Since I've decided to start my training for the marathon in Rome for this year, I've received a lot of support from my family and friends, which has been really important for keep on trainning.
I've been jogging for a couple of years, but it was until last year when I finally decided to do it "seriously" and have like a real goal to improve, however when people ask me why I decided to run a Marathon? what was like the spark that lighted this wish? It's kind of difficult to explain it, because I just felt like running (like the old good Forrest would say...) but I cannot explain a proper reason.
Today I heard someone saying something that really caught my attention, it was that ordinary people do ordinary things, but ordinary people who does extraordinary things, became extraordinary people in the end. Running a Marathon could seem like an extraordinary thing, to take to the limit your body, your mind and your spirit, I don't know yet if it's really extraordinary or not, I'm eager to discover it and to become one day, maybe an extraordinary person...I guess that finally that's the hidden and true reason for running in Rome...
