Ordinary things

Since I've decided to start my training for the marathon in Rome for this year, I've received a lot of support from my family and friends, which has been really important for keep on trainning.

I've been jogging for a couple of years, but it was until last year when I finally decided to do it "seriously" and have like a real goal to improve, however when people ask me why I decided to run a Marathon? what was like the spark that lighted this wish? It's kind of difficult to explain it, because I just felt like running (like the old good Forrest would say...) but I cannot explain a proper reason.

Today I heard someone saying something that really caught my attention, it was that ordinary people do ordinary things, but ordinary people who does extraordinary things, became extraordinary people in the end. Running a Marathon could seem like an extraordinary thing, to take to the limit your body, your mind and your spirit, I don't know yet if it's really extraordinary or not, I'm eager to discover it and to become one day, maybe an extraordinary person...I guess that finally that's the hidden and true reason for running in Rome...

100 days to go!

Now there are just 100 days left until the Rome's Marathon, this is perhaps the biggest physical challenge that I've ever faced until now.

Right now the hardest part of my trainning has started, even when the winter hasn't already arrived to Rennes, it's getting colder each day and the rain doesn't help to make it easier to go out and jog, even when jogging is the thing that I enjoy the most to do, I'm getting used to run and get wet and in a certain way I like it, I really enjoy watching people's faces when I'm jogging in a cold rainny day and all that they do is watch like saying "What the hell are you doing? is cold! it rains! and you're running!!! you're definitely nuts!"

It's the second week of my trainning and I'm improving my time and my resistance, I hope to keep on this way for the next four months...

So, this is it...

So, this is it, this is my blog and my first post!

I thought that it would be easier to write a blog, but even choosing the name of your blog seems to be a difficult decision. What should I write? would people get bored reading me? I dunno, I hope at least that you don't get bored so easy or at least not so fast...

I'll try to blog as often as I can, I think that this will be a good place to express myself better and longer than in facebook, so let's see what happen
